Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death. It affects millions of people across the globe. According to a recent survey report, approximately 655,000 Americans die every year from heart diseases.

Do you suspect something wrong is happening with your heart?

Well, not all heart problems come with clear warning signs! You will not always have an alarming chest pain followed by a fall just like you see in the movies.

Sadly, there is not an easy way to determine what’s going wrong with your heart!

If you are overweight, suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol, you may have more risk of heart diseases.

There are some warning signs that could indicate you “it’s time to consult a doctor”.

Feeling Sick

Certainly, not every period of illness equals a heart attack. However, if you are experiencing the same problems again and again then you should visit a doctor. If you are feeling sick and experiencing chest pain, simply white sitting and doing nothing then you should take the advice of the medical expert.

Chest Pain

Undeniably, this is a classic sign of a heart stroke or attack. But, still many people don’t realize that chest pain might be a medical emergency.

According to heart experts, if you feel unwell and have chest pain then you should call for an ambulance as soon as possible. Usually, a heart attack is described as tightness, or heaviness in the chest.

Stomach Pain or Indigestion

may be surprised to know this but a burning sensation and indigestion can be a warning sign of heart stroke or other heart problems. Experts say that our hearts, the gullet, and the stomach are all lying next to each other. Thus, problems like burning sensation or indigestion could be a sign of a heart attack. Therefore, you should not take them lightly and consult a heart specialist.

Feeling Sweaty

Well, feeling sweaty in summer or when you have been to the gym, is nothing to worry about. However, feeling sweaty with chest pain is an alarm that you should call an ambulance as soon as possible.

Snoring

It’s quite normal to snore a little when you are in deep sleep. However, snoring that sounds like choking or gasping can be a sign of sleep apnea. Unusual loud snoring puts extra stress on your heart. Thus, it’s important to get yourself checked if you have a snoring problem. Usually, doctors suggest a CPAP machine to smooth out the breathing of the patients while sleeping.

Cough

In many cases, cough is not a warning sign of a heart problem. However, a long-lasting cough can cause many serious health problems. Besides this, if you suffering from any heart disease then cough can worsen your condition.

White or pink mucus in the cough could be a sign of heart failure. Certainly, heart surgery is a way to treat heart problems. In fact, doctors use a cerebral protection system to protect the brain from cardiac procedures.
